There is a person behind every piece we bring into The House of Hunny. We spend a great deal of time looking for makers and small family-run businesses whose work feels individual, considered and beautifully made. Many of the pieces we source are made by hand, using skills and techniques that have been passed down over generations.

What draws us to these pieces isn't simply how they look. It's the fact that they don't feel mass-produced. They have small differences, natural variations and details that come from the process of making them. We love that about them.

A large part of what we want The House of Hunny to do is give these makers an opportunity to reach people who may never otherwise come across their art. We bring their pieces home to Australia because we believe they deserve to be seen and loved.
